Alister Smith:

Alister is a Music Theatre graduate from the ARTS ACADEMY of Ballarat. His Academy performance credits include Kiss Me Kate, Anthony Crowley’s The Wild Blue, It Isn’t Working – The Kander & Ebb Review, 42nd Street and Merrily We Roll Along.

Since Graduating in 2004 Alister has worked for Opera Australia: The Love Of Three Oranges, H.M.S. Pinafore & Trial By Jury, La Traviata; The Production Company: Sunset Boulevard, and 42nd Street and countless performances for The Wiggles. Alister’s Film and TV work includes The Footy Show, The Price Is Right (Model), the Australian feature Wil and is currently working on the remake of the children’s TV show The New Adventure Island playing Mizda Meaner.

In 2005 Alister started his own production company redroomTHEATREcompany producing Kander & Ebb’s The World Goes Round, and an original work SQUISH!. Recently Alister and partner Elenor were commissioned to create a brand new kids show and together they developed The Terrific Adventures of Scooter.
