Caitlin Byrne

Since relocating to Melbourne, Caitlin has been Assistant Stage Manager on the Malthouse Production of Becketts HAPPY DAYS, Stage Manager of White Whales Production MELBURNALIA II at 45 Downstairs and assistant Stage Manager with Finucane and Smith's production THE FEAST OF ARGENTINE at La Mama.

Caitlin has completed successful Stage Management secondments with BILLY ELLIOT, MTC production of MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIA and a Secondment in Operations and Productions with The 2009 St Kilda Festival. Before moving to Melbourne, Caitlin completed a Bachelor of Arts (Communications, Theatre and Media) at Charles Sturt University. While studying in Bathurst NSW Caitlin directed new work WE SUCK YOUNG BLOOD at Ponton Theatre 2008 and she completed a semester of study abroad at the University of Kentucky, USA. While there Caitlin was Wardrobe Assistant and Dresser for the production of A SOLDIERS PLAY (2008). Caitlin worked in multimedia operation on DIAMOND DUST at Ponton Theatre (2007). There she stage managed Yasmina Reza's ART, ONCE UPON A CABARET and was Lighting Designer on MASKED THEATRE at Studio A Bathurst (2006).
