Born and raised in Melbourne, Cameron trained
extensively at Centrestage Performing Arts School under the training of Ian and
Leanne White, who nurtured his great love of musical theatre.
Since graduating high school in 2002, Cameron spent the best part of 4 years
travelling the world as a featured vocalist for Royal Caribbean Cruise lines. On
his return to Australia he toured nationally with Graeme Base’s award winning
musical MY GRANDMA LIVES IN GOOLIGULCH, directed by Garry Ginnivan. In 2007 he
was cast in the ensemble of the national tour of MISS SAIGON, covering the lead
role of Chris.
Immediately following this he was cast in the role of Matthew for the original
Australian premiere seasons of ALTAR BOYZ, for Ovations Live.
Cameron was also seen playing Johnny Farnham, Alice Cooper and various other stars in
COUNTDOWN THE MUSICAL, at the Palms at Crown, as well as the world premiere of LIFE'S A CIRCUS for Magnormos. In 2011 he joined the cast of JERSEY BOYS for the Sydney seaon.
Television credits include BLUE HEELERS, NEIGHBOURS and SHORT CUTS as well as several national commercials.
