Chris has been involved in
theatre since his early high school days. Having performed the roles of Bobby
Child in 'Crazy for You' and Sky Masterson in 'Guys & Dolls' at Carey Grammar,
Chris delved into the amateur theatre world in 2002 as Benjamin in Whitehorse’s
'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat'. He has since played various
roles including Nick Piazza in 'Fame – The Musical', Lewis in CLOC’s 'Pippin'
which earned him a Guild award nomination for Best Male Supporting actor,
General Tom Thumb in 'Barnum' which earned him a Guild award nomination for Best
Cameo Appearance, Armand St.Just in CLOC's 'The Scarlet Pimpernel' which earned
him a Guild nomination for Best Male Supporting actor, and most recently Mickey
Johnston in CLOC's 'Blood Brothers' which earned him a Guild award nomination
for Best Male Performer in a leading role. Chris has trained vocally with David
Rogers-Smith for 6 years and has performed in various concerts, corporate events
and ensemble shows such as 'Is There Life After High School?' and 'I Love You,
You're Perfect, Now Change'. He will soon play the role of Jason in 'Bare – A
Pop Opera'.
