Don has been a professional actor and proud Equity member since 1973. His extensive work in the theatre includes performances at Playbox, Nimrod, La Mama, Shakespeare in the Vines, Unicorn (London), Columbia University (New York,) and he has appeared in over twenty-five Melbourne Theatre Company productions. For Magnormos he has been seen in The Beauty Spot, and Flora the Red Menace.

His film work includes roles in Romper Stomper, Evil Angels, Quigley Down Under, Sensitive New Age Killer, Malcolm, Rikki & Pete, Road to Nhill, The Hard Word, The Oyster Farmer, Charlotte’s Web and Gettin’ Square, The Tender Hook and The Independent.

He has also appeared on television in regular roles in Blue Heelers, Man from Snowy River, Neighbours, Stingers and Something in the Air.

Don was a best actor Green Room nominee in 2003, and he also works as a director.
