Erin is a 2006 graduate of the Music Theatre Course at the
Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) and has also trained at the Melbourne Acting
Studio, St Martin's Youth Theatre and privately with Suzy Haywood. Erin has also
been vocally trained under the guidance of Tim Smith, Martin Croft, David Rogers
Smith, Chelsea Plumley and Phillip Gould, to name a few.
Erin has enjoyed 3 sell out seasons of her cabaret's Erin Cornell is...,
and Erin Cornell is...BACK at the butterfly club, and Erin Cornell
does...Schwartz at Manchester Lane.
Erin has been a featured artist at Hats Off, The
Brian Stacey emorial concert and All Roads Lead to Home by Mathew
Frank and Dean Bryant.
Television appearances include Good Morning Australia, guest part on
Neighbours and Before the Game. In 2007 Erin played the role of
Elphaba in WICKED for 14 months at Universal Studios in Osaka,Japan and since
being back has been performing in SHANE WARNE THE MUSICAL -IN PROGRESS for the
Melbourne International Comedy Festival, DAMN YANKEES for the Production company
and BETTER THAN BROADWAY WORKSHOP for Magnormos.
This year Erin won aussietheatre.com Rising Star 2008 Competition, and as a result just recently she performed her cabaret ERIN CORNELL IN TAKING OFF IN SYDNEY at Bar Me, directed and accompanied by Mark Jones.
