Jensen Overend:

Jensen graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts, fulfilling majors in both Cinema Studies and Italian. He is currently completing a course in Musical Theatre at the Victorian College of the Arts.  Notable past theatre credits include: ‘Curly’ in Oklahoma! (BGS/FGS); ‘Cinderella’s Prince’ in Into the Woods (Devanesan Productions); and My Fair Lady (AEMA). Jensen has also featured in videos for the Sofitel Hotel (Melbourne) and Exit Films (South Melbourne).

At the VCA, Jensen recalls many highlights: Playing the lead role of ‘Bobby’ in Sondheim’s 'Company', writing and performing his own Cabaret at The Butterfly Club, and delving into an advanced study of Shakespearean theatre, where he performed the title roles in scenes from 'Macbeth' and 'King Richard III'.

He has similarly enjoyed screen-acting courses at NIDA, a variety of dance classes at The Space, and private singing tuition with Gary May.
