She has enjoyed playing a variety of character roles in such Films as ANGEL BABY, LIFE, TRUE LOVE AND CHAOS, THE INTERVIEW, THE BANK, SALEM'S LOT with Rob Lowe and ACADEMY, which is yet to be released.

Her Television roles include BACKBERNER, HALIFAX, MARSHALL LAW, STINGERS, WICKED SCIENCE and NEIGHBOURS, but she is probably best known for her role of 11 years, playing the character everybody loved to hate, Inspector Monica Draper in BLUE HEELERS.

Peta successfully juggles her acting with a full time nursing career (due to a very understanding boss and team of nurses).
