Vaughan has a background in circus and physical theatre. After wining the ‘Albury St Performance Festival’ Vaughan embarked on the next phase of his career by gaining admittance into The National Institute Of Circus Arts (NICA) in 2004. After graduating in 2006 Vaughan has had the privilege of working under the direction and guidance of Robin Laurie (Circus Oz
co-founder) and alongside Ludwig Schukin (Moscow Circus, Cirque
Du Soliel) and has played across Australia in every kind of situation and venue from the tiniest rural QLD school to the M.C.G.

Of the many productions that Vaughan has performed in, some of his personal favorites include the 2006 ASIAN GAMES CLOSING
CEREMONY, THE BACKYARD BUGS CIRCUS at the Melbourne Museum, IN ZOOM CLOWN THEATRE for Schukins Entertainment and ‘The QLD Arts Council’ and The 2007/8 CIRCUS CABARET at the Woodford folk festival.
