All Het Up

Music by John Thorn & Fiona Thorn

Lyrics by Guy Rundle, Fiona Thorn  John Thorn

We are introduced to the vibrant thrumming world of the city through the offices of a waiter/MC/ringmaster type, who host us through the story.  Tash and Kate are best friends and singleton thirty something's adrift in the world of singles bars and arranged dates.  Tash is assertive and willful, Kate is shy and neurotic.  Jack and Will are similarly best friends, thirty something's and single - Jack gleefully so, Will anxiously so.  When Jack and Tash meet at a bar, it's excitement and lust at first sight - when Will and Kate meet via a dating agency, it's the rebirth of hope for two people who've given up on ever finding love. This socially savvy new Australian musical premiered at the Melbourne Fringe Festival in 2002 and enjoyed subsequent seasons at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival and Chapel Off Chapel (Melbourne).

"Hilarious"
