His Majesty's
Pleasure
Music by Ian Dorricot
Book and Lyrics by Mary McMahon
In the 1780's, a rag, tag and bobtail assortment
of rogues, jettisoned from a life of petty crime, arrived in Sydney Cove to face
the unknown for the duration of 'His Majesty's Pleasure'. This is a
lively, earthy show, reflecting the determination of the human spirit to rise
above anything, as the characters turn the guiles they had learned in the old
professions into life skills which will serve them well.
