Up! is a youth-focused,
contemporary and fascinating new musical - a cycle of scenes and songs which
deals with a young persons' transition from their beginning place to the next
place. Up! is a personal piece about the every day and the extraordinary.
First created by Eddie Perfect whilst studying at WAAPA, Up! was
re-written and significantly advanced for the VCA, where it opened in June 2006
beforeembarking on a Victorian regional tour. Up! was directed by Martin Croft, with Musical Direction by Luke Hunter and Choreography by Lisa Sontag.
